The Pacific Ocean has the Mariana Trench, which is the deepest point on Earth at about 7 miles deep. The Pacific Ocean also has the Ring of Fire, which is a region where tectonic plates meet and has many active volcanes and leads to frequent earthquakes. The Pacific Ocean also holds many wildlife species and affects the environment from its ocean currents and weather patterns.
